The Pokemon Go hacking lawsuit ended with a $5 million settlement.

Hacker group Global++ agrees to pay out $5 million to Pokemon Go developer Niantic. Global++ created and sold hacked versions of Pokémon Go, Ingress, and Harry Potter: Wizards Unite. The hacker group ignored a number of cease and desist letters from Niantic. It admitted to breaches of federal law, including copyright infringement and violations of California’s Computer Data Access and Fraud Act.
